THE LUCAS geneaology PROJECT

Governor and Major General Robert Lucas was not the only member of his extended family to have made his mark on the development of the United States.  His ancestors were among the first to join William Penn in his new Colony of Pennsylvania in the 17th Century and then ran to the alarm bells as the nation tossed off the yoke of monarchial tyranny in the American Revolution. His descendants too, have continued his spirit of military service to the nation and conquering the new American frontier.

The Lucas Genealogy Project is designed to provide a centralized location to document the the extended Lucas family and document their achievements, service to the Nation, failings, and tragedies from their arrival on the shores of the New World to the 21st Century.
